We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our fast-paced quick service restaurant, Jax Wood Fired Pizza. We have multiple locations hiring in both (Haleiwa) and (Sharks Cove). As a Team Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest standards of food handling and sanitation. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a collaborative atmosphere and are eager to contribute to a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cook Quality Menu Items: Prepare pizza, salads, and other menu offerings according to established recipes, ensuring consistency and high-quality presentation. Operate our custom wood-fired oven to cook pizzas and other menu items to perfection.
• Ingredient & Recipe Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of ingredients, recipes, and the brand after training, ensuring that every dish meets our standards of quality.
• Versatility & Multitasking: Manage both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. This includes food and dough preparation, oven management, customer service, team leadership, and maintaining a positive dining experience.
• Team Efficiency: Ensure timely and efficient food preparation and service, leading the team to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• POS & Cash Management: Operate the Toast POS system for order taking, payments, and managing cash. Handle transactions with accuracy and professionalism.
• Customer Service: Greet each guest with the “Jax Greeting” a warm smile, eye contact, and a welcoming attitude. Provide exceptional service to enhance the overall dining experience.
• Positive Attitude: Exemplify a positive attitude with customers and other team members throughout the shift.
• Brand & Community Advocacy: Actively promote and spread the message of our brand, including our commitment to our faith and community outreach, to customers. Be knowledgeable about our mission and values.
• Professional Conduct: Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Demonstrate respect and courtesy toward others, arrive on time for shifts, and take accountability for your responsibilities. No horseplay, and always conduct yourself in a professional manner.
• Appearance & Cleanliness: Adhere to dress code and maintain a clean, professional appearance at all times. Help maintain a clean and organized environment in both the kitchen and dining areas.
• Community Connection: Foster a sense of connection to the local Haleiwa community, making guests feel welcome and valued.
• Team Leadership & Communication: Lead by example with strong communication skills, ensuring that all team members are aligned with daily goals and responsibilities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or a quick-service restaurant is preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.
• Able to work on your feet for 4-8 hours during shift. (Walking and moving around required)
